Standard Motor Products, Inc. (SMP) is a leading independent manufacturer and distributor of replacement parts for motor vehicles. We cover all makes and models – domestic and import, car and light truck, as well as new and old vehicles. Our products are sold throughout the U.S., Canada, Central and South America, Europe and Asia, by traditional warehouse distributors and auto parts stores, as well as major retail chains.

We are organized into two major operating segments, each of which focuses on a major specific line of replacement parts.

Engine Management

Temperature Control

SMP’s engine management business manufactures and distributes a full line of engine management related products, including ignition and emission parts, on-board computers, ignition wires, battery cables and fuel system parts.

SMP's temperature control business manufactures, remanufactures and distributes a full line of replacement parts for automotive air conditioning and heating systems including compressors, fan clutches, evaporator cores, heater cores and accumulators.
