SMP Awarded 2010 ACA Award for Intermotor Ad Campaign

SMP awarded 2010 ACA Business-To-Business Award for Intermotor Ad Campaign.

Standard Motor Products was selected as a winner in the 2010 Automotive Communications Awards (ACA) for their Intermotor Brand advertising campaign. SMP launched the Intermotor line in June of 2009 and has already had a major impact on the import aftermarket.

This year’s comprehensive national advertising campaign was a follow-up to SMP’s initial campaign and promoted Intermotor’s brand with the messages, “Making a world of difference for your import business” and “We cover every corner of the import world”. Intermotor parts are available nationwide in over 15,000 locations and meet stringent look, fit, form and function criteria of the OE part they are replacing. When asking for the world’s best import parts, you are asking for Genuine Intermotor.

The Automotive Communications Awards are sponsored by the Women’s Board and supported by the Automotive Communication Council. The ACC awards applaud companies/agencies that provide automotive information through outstanding advertising, marketing and PR efforts. This year’s Best in Show award was given to SMP for its Intermotor brand campaign and was selected by the ACC in the category of Business-To-Business, Ad campaign to Distribution/Retail Audience, SMP - Intermotor Brand, Intermotor Ad Campaign, Maximum Marketing Services.

The award was presented at the Car Care Council Women's Board Reception in the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, NV on November 2, 2010.
