SMP Announces New Environmental Policy

Standard Motor Products is committed to conducting its business in an environmentally responsible manner, which emphasizes an awareness for the potential environmental impact of our actions and seeks to identify and implement appropriate solutions to reduce our impact while achieving our business goals. Sustainable Manufacturing

Standard Motor Products operates more than 25 facilities around the world. Despite our global footprint, we're committed to ensuring the highest quality of processes and highest levels of sustainability at every SMP facility. 

 

Filling the Technician Shortage

According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, the automotive industry will need to hire an average of 76,000 technicians every year between 2016 and 2026. The additions are needed to 1.) replace the individuals who are leaving the industry and 2.) fill the nearly 46,000 new openings that are projected to be available.
